You may be wondering, what is a Ghillie? A Ghillie is a Scottish term for the person that acts as an assistant on a fishing trip, carrying the fishermans additional rod and gear. While you can hire a guide, most of us do not have a "Ghillie" to carry our other fishing rod, till now!
It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. While having a second rod to fish with may not be considered a necessity, that luxury is reserved for the the less serious fisherman. Now, you can fish one rod and have another at the ready. Be it a fly or spinning rod. My Ghillie keeps your other rod securely behind the shouilder of the arm opposite your casting arm, out of the way! When you need or whish to change rods simply remove the rod from My Ghillie and put the rod you are no longer using in My Ghillie. The switch is quick and easy.
The My Ghillie system also comes with a convienant Third Hand. The Thid Hand functions like the assistant few of us have, holding the rod while you change flies or tie on another lure.
